Car Rental without stress. What to start with?
Planning to rent a car for your next trip but don’t know where to start? We will help you out. 1. Pick your dates
The first thing you need to do is choose the pick-up and drop-off dates. Try to be specific about when you plan to pick up and drop off the car, because this affects the price and availability of the rental car. You can also choose the same drop-off point or a different drop-off point so that you can drop off the car at your final destination.
2. Apply filters
Vehicle type. Filter by car type if you already know whether you want a compact car, full-size sedan, luxury car, etc. depending on the purpose of your trip. For example a practical business model will suit your family needs or business meetings and a presentable car for going out, a special event or filming.
3. Details and wishes
Once you have entered all your personal data, number of passengers and luggage and you are ready to book the desired rental: with or without driver. Fill in your personal requirements in additional information field.
4. Complete the booking
When you are ready to pick up the rental car, don’t forget to bring a valid driving licence, any additional driving licence and a second form of identification. Have your confirmation of payment ready if you pay online, or pay on the spot. Always review the terms and conditions to check everything one last time before you pay.
The car rental company will give you a brief report on the condition of the car, but take photos before you leave if you want extra assurance that the car already has minor dents or scratches.
You may already know that you can only rent a car with a credit card, not a debit card. This is because car rental companies prefer to charge you upfront and refund you when you return the car safely. There are exceptions to this rule, but they are not common. If you have found a rental agency that accepts debit cards, you should have enough money to cover the full cost of the rental in advance.
